Since beginning pottery 1, i have learned techniques to shape and mold clay into how I desire it to look. With the “Empty Bowl” project I learned how to use the pug-mill, the slab roller, and an assortment of tools used to change the physical look of the bowl once shaped. In the “Pinch-Pot” assignment I learned to add a foot to my pot/bowl, how to feel for the thickness of the pot’s walls, and how to make them all smooth and equal.
